PHE Canada defines physical literacy as the ability to move with competence and confidence in a variety of physical activities in different environments that benefit the healthy development of the whole person (PHE Canada, 2010). Health and Physical Education educators play an important role establishing this foundation.
The talk profiles and celebrates the Physical Education team who implemented the Long Term Athlete Development model for their students at Seaway District High School in the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB).”
