Ontario Min of Ed: Agencies etc.

I have drafted an infonote  that provides an overview and includes links to the different Ministry agencies: infonoteonted.doc.  Each of these sites contains useful infomation and resources to help the Ontario teacher.

In the past year or so the Ministry has helped create a couple of new online resources.  eWorkshop includes online videos and lesson plans and activity sheets to support literacy and numeracy. The Ontario Educational Resource Bank  is an online collection and database of  K-12 teaching materials (each school board has its own password and login).

Who do you call at Tippett?

A new school year has started – everyone is back from vacation and getting back into a daily groove.  Teacher’s know that many fabulous resources can be borrowed from Tippett, but don’t know who to call.  Here is a handy list of the important numbers (we are all in the 416 area code):

Tippett is one building housing different departments and resources.  It can save you time if you go directly to the right source.
